ABOUT JAMES
Born and bred in Pontypridd, South Wales… James is proud of his heritage and enjoyed growing up in a large and close knit family.
As a talented young golfer he travelled the world, eventually turning professional… until his 2008 X Factor appearance directed his career into the world of entertainment.
From a young age James had always enjoyed entertaining family and friends and it was James’ mum who sent in the X Factor application form! Since appearing on our TV screens and reaching the final 24 on X Factor 2008 … life hasn’t quite been the same.
With positive comments from all of the judges throughout his X Factor experience, James made it to the ‘Judges Houses’ stage in St Tropez. He performed in front of his mentor, Dannii Minogue, Emma Bunton and millions of viewers.
With a broad vocal range, an ever growing repertoire and upbeat personality, James is completely at home with any size audience … whether it be a small intimate venue, a wedding group, large club or high profile corporate event … it just seems so natural to sing and entertain.
Each performance reflects his love for the music and the words …the voice comes from his heart and soul. Inspired by ‘Musical Theatre’, Big Ballads’ and ‘Anthems’, James’ powerful voice delivers each number in his own distinctive style.
James is now becoming more involved in the creative process of making music and working with musical writers and producers to develop his own unique style.
The delight for James will always be about connecting with a live audience, leaving them feeling uplifted and wanting more.
